About Recover Abandoned Cart

Recover Abandoned Cart is a WooCommerce Plugin that will help you Recover Abandoned Carts by sending follow-up email notifications to customers for their abandoned carts and bring more sales.

How to Test the Demo?

Steps to Test the Plugin as Admin:

  • Please launch the Backend Demo
  • Once you’ve launched the backend demo and are logged in as an admin, go to the shop page.
  • Add Product(s) to cart. At this point, a Cart ID will be recorded in “Recover Abandoned Cart > Cart List Table” with “New” status.
  • If you simply completed the placement of the order, then the recorded Cart ID will be automatically removed from the table.
  • If the order is not placed successfully and if there is no activity in the site for a specific duration(Default value set as 5 minutes, which you can customize at “Recover Abandoned Cart > Settings > General > Time Settings”), then the status of the Cart
    ID will be changed to “Abandoned”.
  • Once the status is switched to “Abandoned”, based on the duration set in the Email Templates(Default value set as 5 minutes, 15 minutes respectively for 2 Templates), the plugin will start to send abandoned cart emails. Go to “Recover Abandoned Cart -> Email
    Templates
    ” to customize the templates, update the Send Email Duration time, set criteria to use the template, etc.

Steps to Test Guest Abandoned Cart:

  • Once you’ve launched the backend demo and are logged in as an admin, open the same site in a new Incognito or Private browser window.
  • In this new Window, just browse and add product(s) to the cart. In the checkout page, please fill in the details with the respective Email Address.
  • Later, please follow the steps mentioned in the previous section(Steps to Test the Plugin as Admin).
